Privacy Policy

Privacy and protection of personal data
Privacy and personal data are protected. The processing of personal data of guests, customers, suppliers, partners, and other users is limited to the data necessary for the optimal provision of services. Personal data is collected, processed, and used in accordance with the content of this privacy policy and applicable data protection regulations, in particular the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA). This privacy policy governs which personal data is collected, processed, and used.

Description and scope of data processing
1.1 Personal data within the meaning of these privacy provisions includes all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the “data subject”). This includes, in particular, name, email address, address, telephone number, as well as credit card and bank account details and VAT information.
1.2 Personal data also includes information about the use of the website. In this context, personal data may be collected as follows: information about visits to the website, such as the volume of data transferred, the location from which the data is accessed, as well as other connection data and sources accessed. This is usually done through the use of log files and cookies. Further information on log files and cookies can be found in Section 5.
1.3 As a rule, personal data is deleted or anonymized as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of processing.

Purpose of use

Personal data is generally used for the following purposes:
2.1 To provide the required (service) offerings to the guest/customer optimally;
2.2 To ensure that the website can be used as efficiently and user-friendly as possible;
2.3 To fulfil obligations arising from contracts with third parties;
2.4 To enable participation in interactive offers;
2.5 To inform about changes to services;
2.6 To enable the processing of application procedures;
2.7 For the use of additional tools, such as social media plugins, newsletters, or web analytics tools.

Principles of data processing
Data processing follows the principles of legality, proportionality, purpose limitation, transparency—particularly fulfilling information obligations—and data security.

Information regarding user computers and cookies
4.1 Each access to the website generally collects the following information: IP address, browser request, and the time of the request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred during this request are recorded. Product and version information about the browser and the operating system of the computer used, as well as the website from which the access originated, is also collected. These data are used for the operation of the website, in particular to identify and resolve website errors, monitor website usage, and implement adjustments or improvements.
4.2 Cookies help make website visits simpler, more pleasant, and more meaningful in many ways. Cookies are information files automatically stored by the web browser on the user’s computer hard drive when the website is visited.
Cookies are used, for example, to temporarily store selected services and inputs when filling out a form on the website, so that inputs do not have to be repeated when visiting another subpage. Cookies may also be used after registration to identify the user as a registered member, so that no re-login is required when visiting another subpage.
If the use of browser cookies is not desired, the browser can be set to reject the storage of cookies. In this case, the website may only be partially usable or may not be usable at all. If only cookies from this website are accepted, but not those from service providers and partners, the browser setting “block third-party cookies” can be selected.

Data Security
All information transmitted through use is stored on servers within Switzerland/the European Union. Since the transmission of information over the Internet is generally not completely secure, the security of data transmitted via the Internet cannot be guaranteed. However, the website and other systems are protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification, or dissemination of data by unauthorized persons.

No Disclpsure of Personal data
Except with consent for data disclosure, legal provisions, and/or official or judicial orders permitting or requiring data disclosure, personal data will not be shared with third parties. This may include providing information for the purposes of law enforcement, danger prevention, or the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Change to this Privacy Policy
The right is reserved to amend this privacy policy at any time with effect for the future. The current version is always available on the website. To be aware of the applicable privacy policy, this website should be visited regularly.

Rights of Guests / Customers / Applicants
Individuals have the right to request information about the personal data processed. In particular, there is a right to information about the personal data itself, the purpose of processing, the storage period, or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determining this period, the origin of the data if collected from third parties, any automated individual decisions, as well as any recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal data is disclosed. There is also the right to revoke any consent given for the use of personal data at any time. These rights can be exercised at any time with the operator.
